The Thompson and Morgan Egremont Russet Apple Organic Bare Root is a mid-season dessert apple that produces a heavy crop of bronze fruits with a firm crisp skin and a rich nutty flavour which makes them perfect for tarts. Egremont Russet in an easy growing and self-fertile which makes them ideal for smaller gardens or where you only have space for one tree. The Egremont Russet also makes an excellent pollinator for the ‘Braeburn' and ‘Cox’ trees. Harvest season is in October, and you can keep stored extremely well lasting right through to January.Apple rootstocks: M26 - Dwarf reaching a mature height of 2.5-3m (8-10')This variety is self-fertile and does not require a pollination partner..
