The Thompson and Morgan Bramley Organic Apple Tree is the definitive cooking apple, but the traditional variety ‘Bramley’s Seedling’ is extremely vigorous, forming an exceptionally large tree. The organic Bramley 20 has a much smaller habitat which is around 20% smaller which makes it better suited to most proportioned gardens. The Bramley clone still produces large green fruits the same as the normal Bramley trees and can be harvested from early October and stored extremely well lasting right through to March.This variety is not self-fertile. For the heaviest crops it is best grown with another variety. If you only have room for one tree, then make sure that a neighbour has a tree close by that can act as a suitable pollinator.Pollination Group 3 Triploid - Cooking Apple. Keep weeds and grass clear from within a 30cm radius of base of the tree.
