Agapanthus 'Brilliant Blue' lives up to its name thanks to its stunning blue flowers. The blooms appear above upright stems and strap like green clumps of leaves, grow in dense groups for excellent ground cover. The foliage dies back in winter, returning in spring whilst steadily spreading further. Also make an excellent cut flower. Grow Agapanthus plants in rich fertile, well drained soil, in a sunny position. When growing Agapanthus in patio containers use a soil based compost, such as John Innes No.3 .
