Crocosmia Mix - Upright stems which hold sprays of vibrant orange and red blooms. Plant bulbs in the dappled shade of deciduous trees. The bulbs in this collection thrive in reliably moist, well drained soil that is rich in organic matter. Add plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting to improve less than ideal soils. When growing bulbs in the green, it is essential to allow their foliage to die back naturally as this will feed the bulbs for the following year.
