For the best effect, plant your Phlebodium aureum 'Davana' in a raised or hanging planter and allow it to spill over the sides. Safe for children and pets, this rainforest native is ideal for humid rooms like bathroom or kitchen - place yours in a bright spot, away from direct sunlight. Place your Blue Star Fern in a bright spot, but out of direct sunlight as this will scorch the leaves. Don’t allow the compost to dry out - water whenever the surface starts to feel dry. Phlebodium grows best in a humid environment such as a bathroom, or you can increase humidity around the plant using a pebble tray.
