Early to ripen the Grafted Tomato 'Buffalopink' F1 boasts gorgeous pearly pink fruit in clusters of 3-6, each weighing 250-300g on average. A sister to the popular Marmande-type 'Buffalosteak' and 'Buffalosun' varieties, 'Buffalopink' F1 produces large, uniform rosy-pink ribbed fruit with a stunning flavour ideal for adding into salads, sandwiches. Offering greater vigour, higher yields and increased resistance to soil-borne diseases and pests this grafted cordon tomato is ideal for your kitchen garden.How to grow:Pot up and grow plants on in warm frost-free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When all frost-risk has passed, gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions over a period of 7-10 days. Choose a sheltered position in full sun on fertile, reliably moist, well-drained soil, and transplant 60cm (24") apart. Alternatively, grow in patio bags or containers in quality compost such as John Innes No. 2. Drive a (5') cane into the soil adjacent to each plant to support them and tie each main stem to its support with soft twine.Water plants frequently, to keep the compost evenly moist. Feed regularly with a high potash plant food once the first truss has formed. Tie main stems to supports and remove any sideshoots that develop between the main stem and the leaf stems. Once 6-7 trusses are produced, pinch out the top of the main stem. This will increase light and air movement availability around the fruit and focus plant energy on producing high-quality tomatoes.
