The standards are ivory white complemented by white falls bearing a broad border of mottled blue. Blue-green, sword-like foliage complete the look, providing interest and contrast with other perennials, long after the flowers have faded. Height: 90cm (35in). Spread: 30cm (12in). A sunny position in well-drained soil is ideal for growing iris. Bearded iris rhizomes prefer an open position where the rhizomes can bake in the summer sun, without being shaded by other plants.
