This Duo is the perfect addition if you want long-flowering, semi-evergreen and highly fragrant shrubs. The Duo make perfect shrubs for patio containers and garden borders. This duo consists of : Daphne 'Eternal Fragrance' and Daphne 'Pink Fragrance'. caution: Irritant to skin and eyes. Toxic if eaten. Grow Daphne shrubs in moist, fertile, well drained soil that is rich in organic matter. Choose a position in sun or semi shade. When growing in containers use a soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3. Daphne plants resent root disturbance so try to avoid this when transplanting as this may delay plant establishment. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season while young plants become established. Once established, Daphne bushes require only occasional attention. Pruning Daphne is best kept to a minimum, removing only occasional damaged stems and lightly trimming those that spoil the shape of the plant in summer after flowering.
