Potentilla ‘Pink Paradise’, also known as Shrubby Cinquefoil, is a hardy garden shrub ideal for growing in a sunny position in beds, borders or containers. This compact plant forms a neat bushy habit of green leaves, along with masses of punchy pink flowers from late spring onwards, blooming repeatedly right through the summer months. This resilient little shrub is very easy to grow and incredibly low maintenance, putting on a fabulous display in any sunny spot with the minimum of fuss. Use this beautiful and reliable shrub to create a classic cottage garden look in mixed beds and borders, or plant in rockeries or gravel gardens. Grow potentilla in any moderately fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Feed and water regularly until young potentilla plants are fully established. Shrubby Potentilla plants should be pruned after flowering. Remove any damaged or dead stems before cutting back the flowered stems to within 2.5cm (1") of the previous year’s growth.
