Welcome to Britten House
This magnificent Grade II listed Victorian town house is the birthplace of composer Benjamin Britten and his family home for 21 years. We are situated in a prime location overlooking Lowestoft s award winning Blue Flag Beach with uninterrupted sea views from selected rooms.
Britten house has been fully renovated by the present owners to an extremely high standard complementing the original Victorian features such as the fireplaces stained glass windows and doors that define this lovely buildings rich heritage.
The furnishings throughout the house combine quality and comfort while our lovely large and spacious high ceilinged rooms all have en-suite.
We also provide fluffy towels complementary toiletries tea coffee filtered water and biscuits to enhance you stay.
Breakfast is served in our lovely dinning room overlooking the sea.
Choose from our menu of locally sourced produce (where possible) and we will cook your breakfast to your requirements. Nothing is too much trouble. We also provide a selection of fresh fruit cereals and juices served buffet style for your convenience.
