This marvellous mix offers both red and orange bite-sized fruits for summer salads and snacking. These two terrific tomatoes have been chosen for their high sugar content, offering deliciously sweet and juicy fruits, which you can enjoy freshly harvested from July to October. Both varieties offer excellent yields or irresistible tomatoes.Collection includes:‘Sweet Aperitif’ is a red-skinned cherry tomato producing excellent yields of delicious, bite-sized fruits with a high sugar content and just the right amount of acidity, which combine beautifully for a sweet yet refreshing flavour.‘Sungold’ is a non-stop cropping variety from early summer to late autumn whether grown inside or outdoors. Cascading trusses of bite sized, thin-skinned fruit with an exceptionally high sugar content, make its attractive, golden-orange fruit, irresistibly sweet and juicy.Pot up and grow tomato plants on in warm frost-free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. Choose a sheltered position in full sun on fertile, reliably moist, well-drained soil, and transplant at a distance of 60cm (24") apart. Alternatively grow tomatoes in patio bags and containers in good quality compost such as John Innes No. 2.
