Wallflower 'Sugar Rush' - This exciting new wallflower won in the 'Best New Bedding Plant' category at the Grower of the Year Awards in 2013! Wallflower 'Sugar Rush' produces dense blooms in a wide range of colours, from pale cream and yellow to rich red and purple, each giving off a heavenly sweet scent that is sure to fill your borders. With a compact and multi-branching habit, this hardy biennial is perfect for beds, borders and containers, creating a colourful and aromatic display. It flowers in spring as well as autumn, blooming in just 6 weeks when planted in August! These garden ready plants are perfect for a fuss-free garden! Just plant, water and enjoy! Culinary note: The tender young shoots can be cooked and eaten as a vegetable Wallflower 'Sugar Rush' is supplied as  a tray of 30 garden ready plants. Plant outdoors on free draining soil in full sun. Erysimum plants are tolerant of most neutral or alkaline soils and will even cope well on very poor soils. Feed and water plants until they are fully established. Trim back Wallflower 'Sugar Rush' in late autumn or early winter after flowering has finished, to prevent them from becoming leggy. Our garden ready plants are selected for garden performance, straight from the nursery. We send them to you 'green' ahead of flowering (but please note some varieties may show a few blooms), which means plants will establish quickly and all their energy goes into producing better roots, so they produce more flowers throughout the season.
