These heirloom Hollyhocks are loved for their saucer-shaped blooms, which attract butterflies and make a spectacular cut flower for a vase indoors. The edible flowers of Alcea rosea 'Chater's Doubles' can be added to salads for an attractive, tasty treat, crystallised as cake decorations or used to make a delicately flavoured syrup to use with puddings. Our garden ready plants are selected for garden performance, straight from the nursery. We send ours before they flower, hardened off, at the perfect time for planting out.
