Strawberry Cambridge Favourite is a hardy perennial that produces a bumper crop of juicy orange-red fruits with a beautiful flavour and texture from June to July. This variety is reliable and tolerant. This well-known variety is perfect for growing in containers. Cropping periods can be brought forward or extended if grown in a polytunnel or greenhouse. Height:20cm (8”). Spread:30cm (12”).Estimated time to cropping once planted 4-8 Months.Estimated time to best yields: 16-20 Months.Culinary Note: Some parts of these flowers are edible.Plant strawberry plants in autumn or late spring in a sheltered, sunny position in well manured, free draining soil.
