Delight your senses with this compact, late-blooming daffodil. While a customer favourite there were some problems with the original such as the small flowers and a bloom late in the season. However, by working closely with our plant breeders we are now able to offer much more flamboyant and larger blooms that will start in April and run into May, along with improving the fragrance even further. A hardy low maintenance plant with beautiful full double blooms and a delicious fragrance, what’s not to love? The rose of May improved daffodils looks brilliant in bold drifts naturalised in grass to create a dramatic spring spectacle. Daffodil and narcissus bulbs are easy to establish in any moist, well-drained soil. Plant the bulbs in full sun or semi-shade at a depth of approximately 10cm (4") and at a distance of 10cm (4") apart. Narcissus and Daffodils look particularly eye-catching when grown as drifts in borders or informal areas of grass. For a really natural effect, cast the bulbs across the area and plant them where they land.
