French Bean Climbing Cobra is a variety that will crop continuously over a long season, producing heavy crops of smooth, round, stringless green pods about 18cm (7”) long. With its attractive mauve flowers making it a great addition to the flower border as well as a patio pot. Height:180cm (70”). Spread: 30cm (12”).Pot up plug plants and grow them on in warm, bright conditions until all risk of frost has passed. Gradually acclimatise plug plants to outdoor conditions over 7 – 10 days before planting French beans outdoors in rich fertile, well drained soil in full sun with protection from strong winds.Plant Climbing beans in rows that are 60cm (24”) apart, or where space is limited, try growing climbing beans onto a wigwam structure.
