Grow this real show-stopper! Marigold 'French Durango Improved' is a great new mix that's been updated to produce extra-large anemone blooms in sunshine shades. This variety will perform just as well in the garden border as in containers, flowering reliably no matter what the weather. Height: 25cm (10"). Spread 20cm (10") Pot up marigold plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise marigolds to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days and transplant them into their final positions in containers and borders. Plant marigolds in well-drained soil in full sun. When growing marigolds pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on.
