Strawberry Honeoye is a hardy perennial that produces firm, flavoursome red fruits from June to July. This variety produces heavy cropping mid-season with excellent disease resistance. This variety is perfect for growing in containers. Cropping periods can be brought forward or extended if grown in a polytunnel or greenhouse. This variety is perfect for making your own jams or for freezing to enjoy when out of season. Height:20cm (8”). Spread:30cm (12”).Estimated time to cropping once planted 4-8 Months.Estimated time to best yields: 16-20 Months.Culinary Note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. Plant strawberry plants in autumn or late spring in a sheltered, sunny position in well manured, free draining soil. Plant strawberry runners every 45cm (18") in rows spaced at 75cm (30") apart.
