Fuchsia Skyrocket is a hardy shrub that boasts long stems that can be tied to a support or fame to create a beautiful focal point. This free flowering variety produces bicolour red and white flowers that open from dangling pink buds. Flowers grow along the length of the stem ensuring a long lasting display. This fuchsia is vigorous and has a strong upright growth making it easy to train onto a trellis, obelisk. Perfect for patio pots or planting into sheltered borders in sum or semi-shades. Height: 150cm (59”). Spread: 90cm (36”). The lovely modern Tower pot kit comes with 1 large Patio pot and saucer, with attachable 4-part frame. It has an attractive diamond pattern in burnt gold, against a charcoal black background, and is made from all-weather resistant durable garden plastic. Ideal for any climbing flower or plant. Pot up Fuchsia 'Skyrocket' using well drained compost such as John Innes No.3, and grow on in warm, frost-free conditions. When plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a 7 to 10 day period, before planting them in their final positions in patio containers and sunny or semi shaded borders. Choose a site where they are protected from cold winds over winter. Provide a sturdy support, such as a plant climbing frame or trellis, to support the long stems of climbing fuchsias as they grow.
