The Calathea Plant; or Prayer Plant as it is more commonly known boasts stunning striped leaves in some striking colours. Roseopicta variety is a tropical looking variety with striking green foliage with purple undersides . A hugely popular Indoor House Plant, Calathea Plants can grow to 60cm high and so make quite a bold statement when grown in the right place in your home, choosing the right variety with their amazing striping can decorate a room with a living Prayer Plant. Re-pot further as necessary and grow indoors in a warm, bright area. Prayer Plants do not like very dry air and so require a level of humidity which will allow the leaves to thrive.
