Apple 'Sunset' - Apple 'Sunset' makes a brilliant alternative to Cox. It produces medium-sized fruits, each with orange-red flushes to its skin and a deliciously sharp flavour. It grows with a compact habit and shows excellent resistance to disease, making it easier to grow than other varieties. Harvest fruits from late September and eat fresh from the tree, or make into a delicious juice. It has good storage potential as crops can be kept until December.Ideal For: Kitchen Garden, Wildlife Gardens. Hardiness: Hardy. Position In: Full sun.
