Thompson & Morgan Cordyline 'Pink Passion' is a real statement plant that won’t be lost in the crowd. The evergreen sword-like foliage makes this a superb architectural shrub for containers or as a focal point in a courtyard garden. Its arching grey-purple leaves are striped with bright fuchsia pink, and unlike many cabbage palms, this cultivar has a low, clump forming habit, producing lots of new stems from the base once the main stem reaches 1m (3’) in height. Cordylines are also well-known for their ability to withstand the salt-laden winds found in coastal areas. Choose a sheltered position in full sun to grow Thompson & Morgan Cordyline 'Pink Passion'. Cordylines are particularly well suited to mild coastal locations, but also do well in fertile soil, so it’s worth incorporating some well-rotted manure into the soil when planting.
