Lonicera Honeysuckle Purpusil Winter Beauty is a hardy evergreen shrub, that produces twining stems with two-lipped flowers in a delicate shade of white with a strong fragrance. This plant will flower from winter into early spring and follows with red or black berries. A strong growing rounded shrub that will produce ovate leaves, perfect for growing up a fence or trellis. Height up to: 250cm (99”). Spread up to: 250cm (99”). Plant honeysuckle against a suitable, sturdy support such as trellis or strong wires attached to walls and pergolas, in fertile, moist, free draining soil. Poor soils can be improved by adding plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost. Choose a position in sun or semi-shade. When growing honeysuckle in patio containers, use soil-based compost such as John Innes No. 3. Feed and water lonicera regularly throughout the growing season until they are fully established.
