Thompson & Morgan Abelia ‘Pinky Bells’ forms a neat, tidy mound of semi-evergreen foliage that colours to rich burgundy in autumn, remaining on the plant well into winter. Extra-large pink-frosted bells give this enchanting hardy shrub a real wow factor! The oversized and lightly fragranced blooms appear from July right through to October in a spectacular display. With a beautifully bushy habit, this low growing Glossy Abelia is the perfect specimen shrub, tirelessly adding colour to the garden throughout the year. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 120cm (47"). Plant Thompson & Morgan Abelia ‘Pinky Bells’ in garden borders in any fertile, well drained garden soil, in full sun. Alternatively grow Abelia plants in patio containers using soil based compost such as John Innes No.3. Feed and water container-grown plants regularly. Deadhead faded Abelia flowers to prolong the flowering season.
