This elegant, evergreen shrub is cloaked in glossy green, linear leaves all year round. In April, the foliage sets off its snowy-white blooms to perfection, creating a truly beautiful display. Thompson & Morgan Choisya x dewitteana ‘White Dazzler’ produces a second flush of flowers in late summer and autumn, providing valuable late-season blooms with a rich, heady fragrance. With a neat, rounded habit, this RHS AGM variety makes a superb specimen shrub for borders and scented gardens. Thompson & Morgan Choisya, also known as Mexican Orange Blossom, are low maintenance and will even tolerate coastal conditions if given adequate shelter. Plant Thompson & Morgan Mexican Orange Blossom in any well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade, with shelter from strong winds. Alternatively grow Choisya in patio containers filled with loam-based compost such as John Innes No.3. Water regularly throughout the growing season until Choisya plants are well established. Mexican Orange Blossom requires little attention, but benefits from a trim each year to keep it neat and tidy. After flowering, trim or lightly cut back shoots to a healthy pair or buds. Apply a mulch of well-rotted manure or compost around the base of the plant in spring.
