Unlike other Hydrangea's, 'Cotton Candy' produces flowers on both new and old stems, meaning more beautiful blooms for your garden! When grown in neutral to alkaline soil, semi-double pink flowers will appear but if grown on acidic soil, they will emerge blue. 'Cotton Candy' is compact and hardy, so will tolerate being grown in a patio pot or in the garden. Once the fabulous flowers have faded, the deciduous, serrated, dark-green foliage turns to fiery red in autumn for added colour in the garden.
