Flowering from June to July, this early large flowered variety bears single, purple blue flowers with creamy yellow anthers, followed by attractive golden seed heads that add interest well into autumn. Robust yet relatively compact, Thompson & Morgan Clematis ‘Fujimusume’ is a spectacular RHS AGM variety that is ideal for growing against walls and fences or planted in a large patio container. Choose a position in sun or semi shade when growing Thompson & Morgan Clematis ‘Fujimusume’ and plant the climber deeply in moist, fertile, well-drained soil, positioning the root ball at a depth of 7.5cm below soil level, in order to encourage new shoots to form from the base of the plant.
