Spiraea ‘Arguta’ is a cottage-garden classic, with arching branches which makes it ideal for informal gardens or relaxed styles. This RHS AGM variety is prized for its resilience, ease of growing and long display of prolific flowers which light up the garden in spring. Grow Spiraea in a sunny position, in any fertile, moist, well-drained soil. For best performance, prune flowered shoots of Spiraea plants immediately after flowering. Mature specimens can be cut back by a quarter of the old shoots to the base.
