This stunning variety is a free flowering elegant climber with stunning gorgeous sky blooms that flower up to 6cm (2.5in) that open during summer months. Plant in a sunny sheltered warm site and you will see stunning flowers from July through to September. Ideal for climbing up trellises, fences and poles. Soak seeds overnight in cold water and/or file a tiny notch in the seed coat before sowing. Germinate at 20-30C (68-86F) individually in pots on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Apply a layer of compost or vermiculite, 6mm (0.25in) deep. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 10-17 days. Transplant seedlings into 13cm (5in) pots and grow on in cooler conditions for at least 14 days before planting out in late spring after all risk of frost. Plant out 30cm (12in) apart. CAUTION: Seeds are poisonous.
