This beautiful ornamental grass produces large feathery type seed-heads of Copper-Red, above swathes of deep green stems. An elegant plant for an elegant garden! When the summer is long and hot, they produce even more attractive seed heads. Florists and flower arrangers like to use these for displays and arrangements. This plant is especially attractive to gardeners as it is very easy to grow and low maintenance. Miscanthus likes to be grown in fertile moist soil, well drained and in full sun. Ideally before planting up, add well-rotted compost and grit for drainage as Miscanthus doesn’t like “wet feet”!
