Durovis Dive are the first 3D VR glasses for smartphones that enable a hands-free virtual reality experience. The lightweight nylon smartphone holder comes with lenses and apps (Drive Tracking for Andriod phones and iPhones/iPods from version 4 onwards) creating a stereo VR effect. The smartphone needs to have (and support) a built-in gyroscope. Also included: a software licence for existing and future Dive apps.The magnet upgrade kit has been designed as an add-on for the Dive 5 and Dive 7. Adding a magnetic switch enables using Google Carboard apps that require the switch. The magnet upgrade kit comprises 2 magnets (neodyme and ferrite) and a plastic enclosure. The kit is attached to the Dive 5 or 7 using adhesive tape (to the left if possible, exact position may vary depending on what smartphone you are using). EMF-enabled apps are using the magnet as a sensor/controller The neodyme cock-and-release mechanism causes a temporary shift in the electromagnetic field (EMF). The smartphone's built-in compass detects and processes these EMF shifts.
