With this adapter, the EDID data of the DP display can be cloned quickly and easily, so that the graphics card has direct access to the correct data of the display. Cloning takes less than 10 seconds; alternatively, the EDID emulator can be configured with a preset EDID that uses the most common resolution/timing combinations.
