Description

Surrounded by picturesque and peaceful countryside and within walking distance of Salisbury the Old Stables provides the perfect accommodation for a weekend get-away or a longer break. With wheelchair access and a fully equipped wet-room each of our three cottages are suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Originally cow sheds and used to accommodate Bridge Farm s dairy livestock the Old Stables have undergone significant renovation making them now far more accommodating to human beings.

Each cottage has a ground floor twin bedroom with an en suite fully-equiped wheelchair accessible wet room that makes it suitable for those with mobility difficulties. On the first floor each cottage has a double room (with three beds) and a single bedroom with a shared bathroom.

Each cottage has a light and spacious open plan living area with a kitchen and large doors that lead guests to a private patio area. There is a shared cob walled garden behind each patio and guests also have access to the river walk through a gate.

The walk to Salisbury is timely but picturesque. In total it take around 30 minutes and the journey takes you through the Cathedral grounds and into the heart of Medieval Salisbury. Alternatively the drive takes five minutes and there is also a park and ride bus stop at the top of Lower Road.
