Situated on a non-working dairy farm on the outskirts of Salisbury Bridge Farmhouse is an eight-bedroom property that dates back to 1701. Thankfully it s undergone significant renovation since and now offers clean comfortable and affordable accommodation which is perfect for those happy to be left alone.
Unlike most hotels and B&Bs we do not offer breakfast at Bridge Farmhouse. Nor do we have a designated reception desk. Instead all our rooms are let on a room-only basis and guests have access to the lounge as well as our river garden. Bridge Farm offers the most peaceful and picturesque surroundings whilst being only a 30-minute walk or five-minute drive from Salisbury.
The increasing cost and legislation involved with serving food and employing staff means that serving breakfast or employing a receptionist would incur significant costs. Instead we aim to pass on these savings to our guests with a view to doing more ourselves when we give up our day jobs.
