The setting here is magical -the sunsets are to die for and guests return again and again to relax and unwind fabulously looked after by the friendly and attentive staff. The windmill now with new sails dates from 1713. It became a house in the 1920s and was the family home of James Blunt! Square rooms are the largest several have sofas while round rooms in the tower are impossibly romantic (Wheel Room is accessed by a ladder!) Six rooms are in the mill and there are also three beautifully converted outhouses. Inside you ll discover the loveliest round sitting room low ceiling open fire stripped floorboards and a sweet little window seat. Bedrooms have a chic feel with Farrow & Ball colours beautiful fabrics and even the odd roll-top bath. Those in the tower (with compact shower rooms) get smaller as you go up but the views get better with every step there s a viewing gallery halfway up for all to enjoy. You eat in a pretty dining room almost always locally sourced produce and deliciously tasty.
