Black Burn Lodge is a newly constructed eco-friendly dwelling with 3 en-suite letting rooms and guest lounge with spectacular views of the Liddel Water and the rural landscape of the Scottish Borders.
All rooms are provided with tea and coffee making facilities TV dressing gowns and Molton Brown toiletries. Comfortable beds with duvets and extra pillows.
Breakfast is served in an open kitchen / dining room and all ingredients are locally sourced and freshly prepared to order. The house speciality is smoked Salmon & scrambled eggs with fresh chives from our herb garden.
Alternatively you can choose from a Scottish breakfast menu including Haggis!
We are located in the village of Newcastleton a 5 minute walk to the local amenities of the village shops pubs and eateries.
The area is steeped in the history of the Borders dark past with the family feuds of the Border Reivers at the forefront Newcastleton is the seat of the Elliot clan with the Armstrong and Scott clans not far away.
Kielder Water Forest Park is a short drive away and offers a wide variety of leisure activities cycling walking sailing fishing.
Kielder Observatory offers fantastic views of the universe enjoying the darkest skies in Europe.
