The Bridge Street Historic Guest House.

We have three beautiful double rooms with shared bathroom one family room and one family suite with en-suite bathroom.

With its brook side garden situated on the south suffolk cycle route we are 6 miles from Sudbury 2 miles from the beautiful historic villages of Lavenham and Long Melford with their historical houses antique shops and a starting point for an abundance of lovely country walks and cycle rides.

Relax and enjoy the tv movies or music in our historic charmful living room with its 12ft inglenook fire place. Enjoy your breakfast afternoon tea or dinner in our georgian dining room with french windows leading onto the garden.

As a pet friendly bed and breakfast we will look after your dog during the day whilst you enjoy our house the gardens or tour the local attractions. Alterntatively we will prepare you a delicious packed lunch or tasty picnic basket with a bottle of wine (apon request) so you can then walk with your dog.

During your stay you might like to sample Lynettes culinary delights from her gourmet Hunneywood products range ( made in our country kitchen) consisting of wonderful preserves jams pickles and cakes.

At the weekend we also open our dining room as a tea rooms offering afternoon tea homemade cakes scones and sausage rolls.

We also provide an evening meal (on request) from ?10.00 per person with a complimentary glass of Hunneywood wine.

We welcome business clients looking for a place to stay whilst working locally and a discount is also available for contract bookings.
