Two luxury themed 2 storey apartments overlooking York Minster hidden in a courtyard containing the remains of the first Norman house dating back to 1180AD. The medieval building has been professionally refurbished by the House of the Trembling Madness which is a famous York medieval ale house situated in front of the apartments (not to be missed). The first apartment is the Old Stonegate Gallery - a ground floor studio with steep stairs to a loft sleeping section.
