Description

Set in the picturesque hamlet of Huxham with it s attractive green and surrounded by fields where sheep and cattle graze Huxham Farmhouse is an elegant Grade II listed Georgian Farmhouse.

As the name implies the building was formerly a working farm house most recently dairy although earlier records show the surrounding land being popular for apple growing and the making of cider. In the early 1980 s the dairy ceased the outbuildings were converted to dwellings and the main farm house was sold as a private residence.

Today Huxham Farmhouse is a comfortable family home which retains many original features and is furnished in a traditional manner with antique furnishings and open wood fires. We offer Bed & Breakfast rooms in the house and self-catered accommodation in our two bedroom annexe the Croft.

The house sits within 1 acre of gardens with adjoining paddock and fields extending to about 7 acres over which we enjoy glorious uninterrupted countryside views.
