Bowness Guest House is a traditional Lakeland slate property built in 1860 comprising 5 guest rooms over 4 storeys.
There are fantastic views over Lake Windermere and surrounding Lake District fells from Biskey Howe viewpoint which is located 200m from our door.
Each guest room is tastefully decorated and spacious with occasional chairs. All rooms are ensuite with shower and complimentary toiletries. Complimentary tea and coffee making facilities are provided. There are also TVs and hairdryers in all rooms. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
Here at Bowness Guest House we have a relaxed and laid back approach to life. We feel everybody works to hard and we don t get the chance to fully unwind. Therefore we don t make you get up for breakfast - not everybody wants a full-english breakfast anyway!! Have a lie in and relax - you re on holiday. There are plenty of excellent coffee shops and cafes close by to serve you what you want and when you want it.
