Description

Glentorets is a modern detached house with uninterrupted views from the rear over the river Conglass and beyond. We have two guest rooms available a double room that can sleep 1-2 adults (1 double bed ) and a twin room (2 single beds) that can sleep 1 -2 people.

Situated in the highest village in the Highlands of Scotland at around 1170ft (356 m) Tomintoul the north east gateway to the Cairngorm National Park is a perfect base from which to capture the beauty of the Scottish Highlands.

Our location gives easy access to Aviemore and Grantown on Spey with Inverness only a 60 minute drive away.

The wide-open spaces of Glenlivet and the Cairngorms are an ideal environment in which to get active and enjoy the great Scottish outdoors. Over 100 miles of way marked walking and cycling trails give some of the best backcountry access to be found in Scotland.

The Rivers Avon and Livet are major tributaries of the renowned River Spey with a significant reputation for the quality of salmon and sea trout fishing that can be enjoyed along their reaches. As your accommodation provider we will be able to advise you on how to obtain a fishing permit.
