The Flying Fish is a country pub with separate accommodation known as The Stables offering 8 very spacious well-equipped en-suite rooms with parking right outside popular with both business and leisure travellers alike. We also have a stunning wedding barn.

Located in the beautiful county of Somerset 4 miles from the charming town of Ilminster and 10 miles from Taunton The Flying Fish enjoys an enviable elevated and peaceful position with stunning rural views across to The Blackdown Hills. We are easily accessed from the main travel routes of the A303 A358 and M5.

All rooms have complimentary WiFi Smart TVs tea/coffee making facilities bottled water wardrobes hairdryers a writing desk 2 chairs a table and very comfortable beds. The modern bathrooms have baths and separate walk-in showers (accessible rooms do not have baths) heated towel rails and complimentary shower gel. We are family and pet-friendly. The Flying Fish breakfast with its choice of offerings freshly prepared will get your morning off to a great start served in our cosy country pub just next door. It is here we can offer you tasty meals 7 days a week.

Our pub has a modern country feel with a conservatory and garden overlooking our amazing view. Our varied menu includes home-made classic pub dishes and authentic Caribbean specialities. We serve a range of local draft ales and ciders as well as a fine selection of wines spirits and soft drinks.
