Description
The Harrow Inn is a quintessential thatched English pub that dates back to the early 18th century. It sits on the High Street Wanborough which is 3.5 miles outside Swindon in the county of Wiltshire.
The pub features a large inglenook fireplace perfect for warming yourself by on those cold winter days a large car park at the rear and three letting rooms adjacent to the building. We serve homemade food seven days a week and our chef is renowned for his bread which is made daily on the premises.
Our three letting rooms Wishing Well Marley and Shire are converted from former stables and sit to the side of the pub.
Wishing Well is a twin room with disabled access and a large en-suite wet room. Marley and Shire are double rooms with ensuite bathrooms (shower over the bath). All three rooms are centrally heated have colour televisions and tea and coffee making facilites.
Wanborough is perfectly situated for easy access to the M4 motorway and is within easy driving distance of the spa town of Bath the prehistoric monument of Stonehenge and the cathedral city of Salisbury. Swindon itself has a busy town centre as well as the McArthur Glen Designer Retail Outlet which is housed in the beautifully restored Grade II listed former railway sheds of the Great Western Railway.
