Situated in the beautiful countryside of Carmarthenshire Middle Mill as the name suggests is a converted water mill dating back to 1425. It was built to serve the inhabitants of the nearby Kidwelly Castle.



This charming Guest House owned and run by Su & Martin Millyard is set within its own small holding in eleven acres of rural land. Views of the nearby Norman Castle in Kidwelly can be seen from the gardens and is just a ten minute walk from the property.



Middle Mill Guest House is full of character with four individually designed bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. There is a large living/dining room featuring rustic antiquities for guests to enjoy and a large screen television for those less active.



Prices are inclusive of breakfast where fresh eggs from the farm are always on the menu! Evening meals are also available but must be booked in advance.



As well as Kidwelly Castle founded in 1106 the ancient town of Kidwelly has a fourteenth Century Bridge and gate and a beautifully preserved Norman church. Also in the vicinity is a nature reserve and an Industrial Museum that s on the site of one of Britain s oldest tinplate works.



There are numerous public footpaths bridleways and a cycling route connected to the National Cycling Network along the coast. A section of the Welsh coastal path crosses through local countryside with spectacular views across to three river estuaries and over to the Gower Peninsular. And if you feel like a flutter - just a few miles away is the Ffos Las Racecourse.



Middle Mill Guest House is 12 miles from the M4 and connected to Carmarthen via the A484.



Trains to & from Kidwelly Station travel westbound to Pembroke-Fishguard-Milford Haven and eastbound to Swansea & Cardiff with an infrequent direct service to London Paddington & Manchester Piccadilly. Local buses provide transport to Carmarthen & Llanelli.
