People find one of the main benefits of counselling is to be able to explore and discuss any issue in a safe, secure, trusting, confidential and non-judgemental environment.

I have had almost 30 years successful experience of working with people, helping them to:-

- manage their lives, changes and transitions

- identify and increase their inner strengths and resources

- take control of their lives

- fulfil their potential

I have been trained in, and practice, many forms of psychological interventions and have experience in both the private and public sectors.

You can be certain that the counselling I offer is relevant to you and with your best interests at heart.

There are many different approaches to counselling. Some approaches work better than others, depending upon the issues and how they affect the person concerned.

I use either solely, or a combination of :-

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)

NLP (Neuro-Linguisic Programming)

NAC (Neuro-Associative Conditioning)

Mindfulness Therapy

Family Therapy

and other therapies in which I am trained and qualified, that best suit the person and the issues they bring to counselling.

I believe that each of us has the resources to fulfil our true potential and resolve any issues we encounter in our lives, but we don't always know how to recognise and use these resources. Given the right guidance, we can bring about these changes.

I will never tell you what to do, but will guide you by providing a safe and confidential environment in which you can talk freely about yourself, your problems, concerns and hopes so that you can decide what - if any - changes you may wish to make in your life.
