Group trips are very welcome and the b and b can be hired-out exclusively if required.Shawgate Farm also has a large bar and lounge and separate pool room on the ground floor which can all be opened for large groups and functions.



Near to tourist attractions including Alton Towers the Peak District the Churnet Valley and Steam Railway the Cauldon Canal the Potteries and the Manifold Valley. Close to Leek Ashbourne Uttoxeter Cheadle Stoke Alton Rochester Denstone Staffordshire Derbyshire.



Being on the edge of the Peak District National Park we are in the ideal spot for walkers with Dovedale and the Manifold Valley on our doorstep. Bakewell and the stately homes of Chatsworth House & Shugborough Hall are within easy reach. Stoke-on-Trent has many pottery factory shops to pick up local china & souvenirs. Furthermore see how the pottery is made at the Visitor Centres of Wedgwood Doulton or Spode.



Check-in time is from 4pm until 9pm. Late arrivals would need to contact the guest house directly to check whether a later check-in would be available.



Bookings made for the same day arrival can only be accepted if booked by 6pm on the day of arrival.
