This famous 18th Century freehouse in the hamlet of Conyer was taken over by Swale Marina in the summer of 2010. The building has now been completely renovated, extended, and updated to provide the atmosphere of a Gastro Inn serving locally sourced, tasty, traditional dishes, a choice of Cask ales and fine wines. The new owners want to retain the informal pub style where people are able to enjoy a pint at the bar, and will be offering a rotation of guest beers such as Harveys, St Austell, London Pride and Abbots as well as Master Brew and Admans. The pub has live music on a regular basis and other special events. Conyer sits right on the Saxon shore walk way and on the National Cycle route. It is ideal for bird watching enthusiasts visiting the marshes and hides around Harty Ferry.
