Located in Bedford Place on three floors of a grade II listed building, the Art House Cafe is a welcoming, vibrant and charmingly quirky venue, run for love and not for profit. The cafe, gallery and vintage clothing shop is open from 10.30am - 6pm Tuesday-Saturday selling 100% organic, fair-trade, and carbon footprint friendly Café Miya (made from actual coffee beans that you can see - if you ask us nicely), a wide range of teas, juices and home-baked snacks (including vegan options).

The Art House also has a busy programme of events, workshops, groups, entertainments and courses from Life Drawing, to creative writing, storytelling, to cake baking and making bug houses out of plant pots. There is a workshop/studio space available for hire, suitable for groups of about 6 - 10 depending on the activity, a smaller room which can be used for meetings of up to 5 people, or for therapies and private music lessons and the cafe is also available for use in the evenings by outside groups.

Also offers internet access in the cafe, including WiFi, priced at £1 per half hour.
