The Bosun s Chair is a lovely pub situated on Station Street right by the station. It is a quiet road and only a couple of minutes walk from both the High Street and the Town Quay.
Originally a coaching inn and then The Commercial Station Hotel The Bosun s Chair has a long history and is famous within Lymington for when Jimmy Hendrix played live there after the Isle of Wight Festival of 1970. It has recently been extensively refurbished.
There are five double rooms available all of which are en-suite.
There is a car park at the rear for guests and we have a great beer garden that is usable year round.
We serve a fantastic cooked breakfast included in the price of your room and there is a traditional pub menu available from 12pm to 9pm.
We also have a great selection of wines by Bibendum and real ales by Wadworths.
