Stonecroft Country Guesthouse is set in a stunning location in the main hamlet of the Edale Valley in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park.

Built of local stone in the early 1900s the house is privately owned and has been lovingly refurbished offering individually designed rooms in sumptuous surroundings where you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome. The rooms are well appointed with Hospitality trays fruit bowls hand made chocolates dressing gowns tourist information hand made soaps shampoos and shower gels free WiFi a bespoke mix of furniture quality sprung beds and flat screen TVs. The rooms range from our cosy single with private shower room to our Luxury King room all providing high standard facilities and a host of extra touches.

Short breaks are available at discounted prices for those who book with us direct. We regret that we are unable to offer short break discounts to those booking with Online Travel Agents.

Julia Reid your host at Stonecroft Guesthouse is a lactose intolerant vegan coeliac. She is also an award winning chef who won a scholarship to study Catering and Hotel Management in Holland.

She is very proud to have been awarded a breakfast award 4 stars and a Gold Award from the AA. Stonecroft was also placed third in the Free From awards in the Bed and Breakfast category 2014 and Winner in 2015. Stonecroft has been awarded Gluten Free Accreditation from Coeliac UK.

Breakfast at Stonecroft is quite an event and is served in the elegantly decorated dining room which has an original fireplace cornices and wonderful views through the large bay windows

Guests dine in style with fine foods organic and locally sourced wherever possible bone china and silver cutlery made locally by David Mellor.
